Conventionally, an insulating storm door has been known in which a heat insulating material is interposed between the facing surfaces of a front plate and a back plate facing each other with a predetermined distance between them. They were either flat or simply uneven for decorative purposes. For this reason, if there is a large temperature difference between the front panel side and the back panel side due to sunlight irradiation, etc., the insulating rain shutters will bulge and deform toward the high temperature side, which not only spoils the aesthetics but also causes damage to the workmanship. This made it difficult to open and close the door horizontally and to move it in and out of the door bag. In order to prevent these deformations, some shutters are reinforced with additional reinforcing members such as crosspieces, but this method not only complicates the manufacturing process but also increases manufacturing costs. There is.

The present invention was devised in view of the above-mentioned circumstances and to eliminate the drawbacks, and the purpose is to reinforce the insulating rain shutters without using any special reinforcing members, and to strengthen the front and back panels. To suppress the bulging deformation caused by the temperature difference between the parts to a limit that does not hinder cross-feed opening/closing and the operation of putting in and out of the door bag, thereby simplifying the manufacturing process and reducing the manufacturing cost. The purpose of this project is to provide an insulating storm door that can provide

A is an insulating rain door, and the front plate 1 and the back plate 2 that make up the insulating rain door A face each other with a predetermined interval, and the areas near the left and right sides of the insulating rain door A have the estimated thickness of the central area B. A protrusion C that is thicker than that is formed. That is, the back plate 2 has left and right edges bent perpendicularly to the front plate 1 direction to form a prospective surface 2a, and a substantially concave locking groove for the vertical frames 4, 4a is formed in the vicinity of the left and right sides. 2b is bent, and furthermore, a wide recess consisting of a rising surface 2c and a step surface 2d is provided in the central region in the vertical direction, and the rising surface 2c of the recess is perpendicular to the step surface 2d. By forming it, it can be used as a handle. On the other hand, the front plate 1 has its left and right edges bent perpendicularly to the back plate 2 direction to form a prospective surface 1a, and the left and right side adjacent areas face the locking grooves 2b and have the same shape. Locking grooves 1b are formed for the vertical frames 4, 4a, and several stepped grooves 1c are provided between positions corresponding to the rising surfaces 2c, 2c of the back plate 2. Then, the facing surface 1a of the front plate 1 is overlapped so as to cover the facing surface 2a of the back plate 2 from the outside, and the front plate 1 and the back plate 2 are formed into a so-called lunch box shape. A heat insulating material 3 made of polyurethane, polystyrene, rock wool, glass wool, etc. is interposed between the opposing surfaces by appropriate means such as injection foaming.

7 is an upper stile formed in a substantially H-shape in longitudinal section,
At the lower end portion corresponding to the step surface 2d formed in the central area of the back plate 2, there is a contact piece 7 that comes into contact with the step surface 2d.
A is integrally bent vertically toward the surface plate 1, and a groove 7b for inserting mohair, which is opened toward the outside, is integrally formed at the upper end.
Reference numeral 8 denotes a lower stile formed in a substantially H-shape in longitudinal section, and the upper end portion corresponding to the stepped surface 2d formed in the central area of the back plate 2 is in contact with the stepped surface 2d and has a part Adjustment port 13 of bolt 14 for vertical adjustment of door wheel 12

Now, if the front panel 1 of the insulating rain door A is exposed to sunlight from the outside and the temperature on the front panel 1 side becomes higher than the temperature on the back panel 2 side, the expected thickness will be a wide center area B with a thinner expected thickness. The thick protrusions C in the vicinity of both the left and right sides bulge and deform in the direction of the surface plate 1, but in the process of this bulge deformation, the amount of bulge deformation in the central region B is significantly larger than that of the protrusions C. However, since the time course of the deformation propensities of the two is different, even if the protruding portion C is in the middle of bulging deformation, the deformation propensity of the central region B is stabilized, and the back plate 2 returns from the maximum deformation state to the original state. As it tries to return to its original direction, the combined stress of the deforming forces of both prevents the bulging deformation of the entire insulating storm door A to a limit that does not interfere with the horizontal movement opening/closing and the operation of moving in and out of the door bag. Moreover, since the central region B is formed as a wide recess, not only the vertical adjustment bolt 14 of the door roller 12 can be installed in the recess of the central region B, but also the normally used shutter lock, steady rest, center It is easy to install the crosspieces, etc., and also to adjust and operate them easily, and since the rising surface 2c can also be used as a handle for horizontally opening and closing the insulating storm door A, there is no need to provide any special handles. .

In short, the present invention provides an insulating rain door in which a heat insulating material is interposed on the opposing surfaces of a front plate and a back plate facing each other with a predetermined interval, and the central area of the back plate of the insulating rain door is exposed to sunlight. Since a wide concave portion consisting of a rising surface and a stepped surface is formed in the vertical direction to suppress the bulging deformation of the storm door due to light irradiation, the insulating rain door can be reinforced against thermal deformation without using any special reinforcing members. As a result, the bulging deformation caused by the temperature difference between the front and back panels can be suppressed to a limit that does not interfere with the horizontal opening and closing of the storm door and the operation of moving in and out of the door bag, thereby simplifying the manufacturing process. This has an extremely useful practical effect in that it is possible to provide an insulating shutter with high strength against thermal deformation at a low cost, while reducing manufacturing costs.
