[Detailed description of the invention] Rigid overhead contact lines provide an appropriate gap between adjacent overhead contact lines in response to expansion and contraction due to cold and warm temperatures, but the present invention relates to a flexible joint that electrically connects both of these overhead contact lines. It is designed to make the lifespan semi-permanent by having a structure that allows the flexible parts to operate easily.

Examples will be described with reference to the drawings. The terminal fitting 1 consists of a terminal plate 1a and a connecting portion 1b, and a blind hole is bored in the connecting portion 1b in the axial direction. Both ends of the flat braided conductor 2 are converged into a circular shape, and each end is inserted and crimped into the blind hole of a separate terminal fitting connection part. At this time, the surface of the flat braided conductor 2 is aligned with the surface of the terminal board as shown in Figure 1. Make sure it is at a right angle.

FIGS. 2 and 3 show a state in which rigid overhead contact lines T1 and T2 are electrically connected via a rigid auxiliary overhead contact line T3 using the present invention. The auxiliary overhead contact line T3 is installed parallel to the rigid overhead contact lines T1 and T2, and an appropriate gap is provided between T1 and T2. As mentioned above, since the terminal plate and the plane of the flat braided conductor are perpendicular to each other, the flat braided conductor is shown as a thin string in FIG. 2, and there is no problem in bending in the in-plane direction. Furthermore, since this is installed so as to form a C-shape with an outward bulge, the plain braided conductor follows the movements of T1 and T2 with sufficient margin.

Figures 4 and 5 show other embodiments,
Rigid overhead contact lines T1 and T2 are connected to auxiliary overhead contact line T3,
Built-in so that it can slide. In addition, in order to compensate for the lack of current carrying capacity due to sliding contact, the flat braided conductor 2 is lengthened, and the terminal fittings 1 at both ends are attached directly to T1 and T2, respectively.
A mounting pin 3 is installed at T3 to prevent the flat braided conductor from hanging down.

Rigid overhead contact lines reach a length of 100-200m, so
Although the amount of expansion and contraction that appears at the ends is large, the flexible joints that connect them are not allowed to extend outward due to storage space, and all of that displacement must be handled within a narrow space parallel to the overhead contact line. . Plain braided conductor wire is used for this connection because it is highly flexible, but conventionally, the ends of the wire are held between single-plate metal fittings.
It was installed in an S-shape that short-circuited both connection points. Therefore, the plain braided conductor wire, whose both ends are fixed to the rigid overhead contact wire, is forced to twist in a direction perpendicular to the mounting surface. Since flat braided conductor wire is made by knitting strands in a twill pattern, this twisting causes the twist to loosen on one side and cause it to swell, while on the other side the twist is added and it loses its flexibility. This forced repetition causes wire breakage. Furthermore, in the S-shaped installation, the flat braided conductive wire lacks enough room to accommodate deformation, which also results in forcing the conductive wire. On the other hand, the present invention is characterized in that these drawbacks are eliminated by the above-mentioned structure.
