Abstract

PURPOSE:To make such car washing that no coating surface is damaged and that there are not unwashed parts left behind possible to be done, by adding a washing technique by means of a rotary washing body consisting of a soft material to that by means of a high pressure water jet. CONSTITUTION:When a car is washed, first water is flooding out of injection pipes 41 and 42, a pipe curtain 4 is projected out rocked, and a rotary washing body 2 is driven, thus preliminary washing for a car takes place. And, simultaneously a detergent solution is sprayed to the car out of a detergent injection pipe 3. Next, a portal frame X is once put back to the initial position. At this time, nothing takes place with the car for some time long. And, with chemical action is a detergent, smudges on a car surface are floated upward. Then, high pressure water is spouted out and these smudges are washed away while having high pressure water jet pipes 10 and 11 followed on the car surface. And, when the portal frame X is restored to the original position again, a blower 52 is driven, blowing air out of nozzles 50 and 51, whereby drying of the car takes place, thus washing operations are completed.

[Prior Art] A vehicle cleaning device usually has a configuration in which a brush is rotated, water is sprayed onto the vehicle, and the brush is brought into contact with the vehicle body to clean the vehicle. However, cleaning with such a rotating brush has the disadvantage that the painted surface of the vehicle body may be damaged, and if there is a protrusion on the vehicle body such as a side mirror, there is a risk of damage by the rotating brush.

In order to improve these drawbacks, vehicles with a configuration in which high-pressure water is sprayed onto the vehicle for cleaning have become popular in recent years. This configuration has the advantage of not damaging the painted surface or risking damage to protrusions, but on the other hand, heavily soiled areas such as around the feet cannot be thoroughly cleaned, resulting in unwashed residue. There were drawbacks.

[Summary of the Invention] The present invention has been made to improve the above-mentioned drawbacks of the prior art, and by adding cleaning with a rotating cleaning body made of a soft material to cleaning with a high-pressure water fountain, it is possible to avoid scratches on the painted surface. This realizes cleaning without leaving any residue.

Although the cleaning power is lower than that of brushes, etc., most of the dirt is removed by cleaning with high-pressure water, so this rotating cleaning body does not require much cleaning power. The rotary cleaning body may be installed at any location as required, such as at a location where the area around the feet, which is heavily soiled, is to be cleaned.

According to the above configuration, neither cleaning with a high-pressure water fountain nor cleaning with a rotary cleaning body made of a soft material will damage the paint film. Moreover, since the rotating cleaning body can clean areas that cannot be cleaned with high-pressure water, the overall cleaning power is not inferior to that of conventional brush types.

In addition, 6 is a near compressor housed in the side wall, and 60 is its air receiver. The compressor 6 is a pressure switch type, and when the pressure of the receiver 60 decreases, it automatically operates, and when the pressure reaches a certain level, it automatically switches off. The system is automatically shut down and is always ready to supply the necessary air. This air is supplied to the air cylinder and nozzle 50 for rotating the rotary cleaning body 2 described above.
It is used as a power source for an air cylinder for moving the wipe curtain 51 up and down and opening and closing the wipe curtain 4.

Further, in this embodiment, as explained above, the water tank 12, high-pressure pump 13, detergent tank 30, near compressor 6, etc. are all mounted inside the gate-shaped frame X. This is because in conventional devices, these pumps and tanks were located outside the frame, which was disadvantageous in terms of space at car washes. Also, the number of hoses, etc. increased, and the load was placed on one side of the circular frame It has some disadvantages such as being unfavorable, and this was designed to improve this disadvantage. With this configuration of this embodiment, only the water hose 120 and the cabtire cord 70 are led out of the system from the frame X, so that the frame X can run smoothly. Furthermore, since there is no need for space around the frame X to install a tank, pump, etc., there is an advantage that it can be installed in a narrow place.
