As is well known, in conventional small gas instantaneous water heaters, when the water supply valve is opened after igniting the pilot flame, the main burner burns and hot water is dispensed. Since the combustion amount of the main burner is constant, this hot water temperature changes depending on the water supply amount, that is, the hot water output amount. In reality, the water supply temperature is adjusted by touching the hot water with your hands.
When hot water came out, it was dangerous and uncomfortable.

FIG. 2 shows an embodiment of the electric circuit section of the present invention. The thermoelectric generating member 10 is made by joining a large number of so-called thermocouple elements in series to obtain a high electromotive force. For example, 120 pairs of chromel-constantan thermocouple elements are joined, and the temperature difference between the temperature point part and the cold junction part is If the temperature is 350℃, a voltage of about 3V can be extracted.

The value of the thermistor 7, whose electrical resistance value changes depending on the temperature, is compared with the value of the variable resistor 14, which sets the alarm temperature, by a comparator 15, and the result is sent to the transistor 16 so that the temperature detected by the thermistor 7 is higher than the alarm temperature. is high, transistor 16
becomes conductive, and the alarm 9 sounds.

The function as a water heater will be explained according to FIG. After opening the gas valve 4 and igniting the pilot burner 2 with an igniter (not shown), when the water supply valve 5 is opened, the water pressure response valve 6 is activated, and the gas circuit to the main burner 1 is opened, and the pilot flame ignites the main burner 2. ignites. The water heated by the heat exchanger 3 turns into hot water, heats the thermistor 7, and discharges the hot water. The thermistor 7 that detects the hot water temperature is connected to the electric circuit 8 as described above.
It is compared with the alarm temperature in the alarm temperature, and if the hot water temperature is higher than the alarm temperature, the alarm 9 is sounded. The power to drive these electric circuits is supplied from the battery 13, but when the temperature of the hot junction of the thermoelectric generating member 10 is heated by the main burner 1 and rises, and the thermoelectromotive force becomes sufficient, the battery 13 is constantly charged. It is designed to operate semi-permanently.

This device is a water heater that sounds an alarm when hot water exceeds a preset alarm temperature. For example, if you are washing dishes, you can set the alarm temperature to 45℃, and as soon as hot water comes out, the alarm will sound. An alarm will sound, eliminating the danger and discomfort that would normally occur. Also, when adjusting the water temperature, you can obtain the desired water temperature by increasing the amount of water supplied a little from the amount at which the alarm sounds, and then using it once the alarm has stopped.

Furthermore, by charging the battery with the thermoelectromotive force of the thermoelectric generation member, it can be used semi-permanently regardless of the discharge life of the battery, and the burner of the water heater can be used to heat the thermoelectric pile and generate electricity. This allows for a simple configuration that does not require a dedicated heating burner.
