The present invention has been proposed in view of the above-mentioned circumstances, and includes a method of calculating the amount of remaining coins by effectively utilizing the existing mechanism in the coin depositing and dispensing machine, and storing the remaining coins within the coin depositing and dispensing machine. As a result, there is no need for a staff member to be near the machine at all times to store the remaining coins left behind by customers, and there is also no need for modification costs when modifying an existing coin deposit/dispensing machine. To provide a coin depositing and dispensing machine which is inexpensive and does not require complicated work such as checking the transaction amount at the end of a transaction.

To briefly explain this coin depositing and dispensing machine I, 2 is a depositing passage, 3 is a rotating disk 3a, and the coin depositing passage 2? This is a coin supply device that supplies coins one by one. 4 is a storage box that stores deposited coins. 58 to 5F are coin stacks that store coins for withdrawal in a stacked state for each denomination. tube,
Reference numeral 6 denotes a transfer device for dispensing money, and upon receiving a deposit command, the shutter 7a of the transaction lower slides open in the horizontal direction (in the figure, perpendicular to the plane of the paper), and coins are inserted into the tray 8 from the transaction lower. Then, the coins are received by the coin supply device 3 located below the tray 8, and sent one by one to the deposit passage 2 from the coin supply device 3 to the sensors 9 and 10.
Denominations and counting are performed using this method.

In addition, in this coin depositing and dispensing machine 1, the reject passage 1
The coin storage section 15 has an opening 15a facing the reject passage 12 at one end (lower end in the figure) of 2, and functions as a lid body that opens and closes the opening 15a by rotating downward. The coins sent to the reject passage 12 are transferred to the coin storage section 15 and the dispensing conveyance device 6.
A reject gate 16 is newly installed to distribute the coins into the remaining coins, and when a predetermined signal is output from the residual coin detection device, the mechanism 14 connects the temporary storage section 13 to the reject passage 12, and the mechanism 14 connects the temporary storage section 13 to the reject passage 12. Reject gate 16
is opened as shown by the dashed line in the figure, and the coins sent to the reject passage 12 are guided into the coin storage section 15.

In order to achieve the purpose stated at the beginning, the coin depositing and dispensing machine 30 of this embodiment detects the existence of coins and outputs a predetermined signal to the transaction port 3I when coins remain. A residual coin detection device (illustrated path) is provided,
In addition, if it is detected that coins remain even after a predetermined time has passed after the withdrawal process, the withdrawal J from the residual coin detection device is detected.
In response to the signal, the remaining coins are returned to the coin supply device 34, passed through the deposit passage 36 in the same manner as when depositing, and then transferred to the stacking cylinders 49A to 49.

With the above configuration, in the coin depositing and dispensing machine 30, coins deposited from the transaction port 31 are sent to the temporary storage section 39 through the deposit passage 36, and the amount calculated by the amount calculation device on the illustrated path is sent to the customer. Once verified and approved, the coins are sent to the coin discrimination passage 46 via the storage and conveyance mechanism 42 and the second coin supply device 45, and when the stacking tube is not full, they are stored in a predetermined stacking tube and used as dispensing coins. When the accumulating tube is full, it is appropriately selected and stored in the storage box 50 or collection box 51, and the amount stored in the storage box 50 is sent to the dispensing conveyance device 55 by the carry-out conveyor 50a at an appropriate time, and is then stored in the accumulating tube. will be replenished. "Effects of the Invention" As is clear from the explanations in Part 2 below, the coin depositing and dispensing machine of the present invention is equipped with a deposit processing function and a withdrawal processing function, and is capable of depositing and withdrawing money from a single transaction port. The transaction port is equipped with a residual coin detection device that detects the presence of coins and outputs a predetermined signal when coins remain. If it is detected that the remaining coins remain, the remaining coins are passed through a deposit passage equipped with an amount calculation device using the output signal of the remaining coin detection device, the remaining amount is calculated, and then the remaining coins are It is configured to be stored in an appropriate place, and if the customer forgets to take the coins and a predetermined period of time has passed after processing, the coins paid out to the transaction opening during the withdrawal process will be automatically stored in the appropriate place in the coin deposit/withdrawal machine. be stored in place.

In addition, with this type of machine, every time a transaction is completed on -day, a check is performed such as checking the balance of deposited coins and withdrawal coins remaining in the coin depositing/dispensing machine and comparing it with the record of the transaction amount. However, when storing the remaining coins, once the system is connected to the deposit passage, the amount of the remaining coins can be calculated and recorded using an amount calculation device already installed in the deposit passage. Therefore, the amount of officially deposited coins does not become unclear due to storage of residual coins, and the work of checking the transaction amount after the transaction is completed does not become complicated.

Furthermore, in the above configuration, existing devices and mechanisms such as a deposit passage, an amount calculation device, a temporary storage section, etc. are effectively utilized. Therefore, even when modifying an existing coin depositing and dispensing machine to store residual coins, the number of newly installed parts can be minimized, and various effects can be obtained, such as reducing the cost of modification.
