In a press-fitting elastic contact that is press-fitted into a through-hole formed in a substrate and makes electrically elastic contact with the inner circumferential surface of the through-hole, a portion of the press-fitting elastic contact that is located inside the through-hole is aligned with the axis. A plurality of wide diameter portions having a cross-sectional outer diameter slightly smaller than the inner diameter of the through-hole in a first perpendicular direction are connected to each other, and the outer diameter of the cross-section in the first direction is slightly smaller than the inner diameter of the through hole. Small diameter portions smaller than the outer diameter of the wide diameter portion are arranged in the axial direction, and between adjacent wide diameter portions, the small diameter portion connecting these wide diameter portions is arranged along the axis.
