Conventionally, tufted carpets produced by tufting machines have been mainly used in the above-mentioned product fields. However, tufted carpets require a primary base fabric and further have drawbacks such as low effective utilization of pile yarns. Therefore, the present inventors attempted to form a special pile structure using a warp knitting machine,
Shikashi et al. obtained a lightweight warp knitted fabric with a high pile utilization rate and high pile without using a primary base fabric like tufted carpet (see Japanese Patent Application Laid-open No. 173358/1983). The above-mentioned warp knitted fabric can be knitted with a warp knitting machine without using special equipment, but since thick denier pile yarn is temporarily knitted,
The napping rate of the pile immediately after knitting is in the range of 0% to 70%, and in order to make the warp knitted fabric into a high-quality product, the knitted fabric knitted with a warp knitting machine must be clothed or clothed in a cloth roll, etc. It was necessary to add a scratching process and achieve a pile standing rate of over 90%. However, if a bulky textured yarn made of a long fiber multifilament bundle of synthetic fibers is used as the pile yarn, when the pile is raised with a needle cloth, the single yarn pull (
Snacking phenomenon) occurs, and the pile yarns become long fluffs extending from the pile surface, significantly deteriorating the appearance. Also, if the contact pressure between the needle cloth and the knitted fabric is reduced to reduce the fluff, the napping rate of the pile will decrease. A problem arose in that it did not reach 90%. It has also been found that even when spun yarn is used as the pile yarn, fuzzing occurs frequently due to the clothing, leading to pilling and the same problem in terms of consumption performance.

c. Means for Solving Problems] The high pile knitted fabric of the present invention is a high pile knitted fabric knitted by a warp knitting machine having a single row needle bed, and the ground yarns are knitted at intervals of at least one stitch. As a result, a thin fabric portion extending in the wale direction is formed. On the other hand, a pile yarn having a thickness of at least twice that of the ground yarn and a thickness of 10,000/G denier or more has an interval of one course or more between the knitting needles that knit the ground yarn. The pile is knitted with knitting needles that move in the opposite direction to the underwrapping direction of the ground yarn and do not knit the ground yarn. The pile is formed on the sinker loop side of the ground weave, and is obtained by knitting the pile with knitting needles that move in the opposite direction to the underwrapping direction of the ground yarn and do not knit the ground yarn, and the pile knitted fabric is Immediately after knitting, more than 90% of the pile is standing.

In addition, in order to produce the high pile knitted fabric of the present invention, the ground yarn supplied from at least one reed is at least twice the ground yarn supplied from at least one reed located in front of the reed, and 10,000/- When knitting a high pile knitted fabric made from pile yarn having a thickness of G denier or more,
The ground yarn is fed to the knitting needles with an interval of at least one needle and knitted, thereby forming a ground structure having a thin fabric portion extending in the wale direction, while the pile yarn is fed to the knitting needles that knit the ground yarn and knitted with the ground yarn. By knitting at the same time, it connects with the ground weave, and then moves in the opposite direction to the underwrapping direction of the ground thread, knitting the pile with knitting needles that do not knit the ground thread, and returns to the original needle loop row, or it is different. This is done by returning to the needle loop row and repeating the operation of connecting the pile yarn to the ground fabric again.

In particular, when developing the high pile knitted fabric of the present invention into products such as carpets and car mats, the number of reeds forming the ground structure is 2.
The number of knitted yarns is preferably from 1 to 3, and chain knitting is preferable for the ground yarn supplied from one reed to suppress expansion and contraction of the knitted fabric and improve dimensional stability. The ground yarn supplied from the remaining 1 to 2 reeds connects the chain stitches in the course direction, so it can be used for weft insert stitches, woven stitches, cord stitches, satin stitches, etc. We have found that in order to ensure a napping rate of 90% or more immediately after, it is best to wrap the ground yarn in the opposite direction to the underwrapping direction of the pile yarn.In other words, for ground yarns other than chain stitch. The first embodiment of the present invention when the flow is one sheet is described below.
As shown in the figure, if the pile yarn is connected to the ground structure by knitting in an arbitrary chain stitch row, then the pile yarn moves to the right side of the drawing, the pile is knitted with knitting needles that do not knit the ground yarn, and it returns to the original chain stitch row. When repeating the cycle of knitting piles with knitting needles that connect to the ground stitch by knitting and move to the left in the drawing and similarly do not knit the ground thread, the ground threads other than chain stitch are connected to the chain stitch by knitting or insertion and move to the left in the drawing. A special structure is required in which it moves, connects to the chain stitch or is connected by insertion, moves to the right in the drawing, returns to its original position, and then moves to the right in the next course. A knitting structure according to another embodiment of the present invention is shown in FIG. 2, but when the pile is knitted with knitting needles that do not knit the ground yarn, in which the pile yarn is always to the right of the connecting part with the ground stitch, chain stitch is excluded. The ground yarn may be denbicord, satin, or interlocked with wrapping opposite to the pile yarn.

Furthermore, in the case where there are two base yarns except for chain stitch, it is essential that at least one of the two reeds has a structure that moves in a wrapping motion opposite to the wrapping of the pile yarn. In addition, 4 sheets are used for the ground thread liquid.

Although it is possible to use five or more sheets, it is not desirable because the knitting movement becomes large and the number of revolutions of the knitting machine decreases.

The key point of the present invention is that the wrapping of the ground yarn is regulated and the ground yarn has the function of raising the pile. The principle behind this is that the pile yarns are knitted crosswise from above the ground yarn to create a pile. This prevents the formed pile threads from getting under the ground threads. In contrast, conventional knitting methods have the disadvantage that the pile yarns are knitted in parallel with the ground yarns, the pile yarns sink under the ground yarns, and the piles do not stand up even after knitting.

Therefore, in the high pile knitted fabric of the present invention, it is necessary to always supply the pile yarn from the reed located in front of the reed of the ground yarn. The ground yarn and pile yarn used in the present invention have no particular characteristics regarding yarn type, thickness, etc. It is not a restriction. However, in order to increase the cover factor of the pile and increase its commercial value, the pile yarn must be more than twice as thick as the ground yarn, and
Requires thickness of 0/G denier or more. Here, G is the gauge number of the knitting machine, which is the number of needles per inch.

The thickness of the pile yarn is expressed as 10,000/G because the inventors have conducted extensive experiments and found that the appropriate pile yarn denier changes depending on the gauge of the knitting machine. In that case, it would be more than 417 denier.

In addition, the pile raising rate immediately after knitting as used in the present invention refers to the total number of piles within a unit area when viewed from the needle loop surface of the knitted fabric,
It refers to the ratio of the number of piles in a state in which the temporarily knitted piles do not remain on the needle loop surface but are removed from the ground structure (in this state, the piles are raised on the knitted fabric sinker loop surface).

The high pile knitted fabric obtained in this way has a pile firmly fixed to the ground structure without using a primary base fabric like a tufted carpet, and also has excellent elongation recovery property, which is a characteristic of knits, and is suitable for use in products such as car mats. In this case, molding performance is improved. Furthermore, since the pile yarn is knitted and connected to the ground knitted fabric, there is no pile loss, and productivity in the dyeing process is improved, and it is also possible to dye and finish the pile head after shearing. In addition, in the present invention, the wrapping direction of the pile yarn and ground yarn is reversed, and the pile is knitted with the ground yarn and pile yarn intersecting, so no special equipment or special post-processing process is used. Even without this, the pile raising rate is extremely high, there is no fuzz on the pile surface that occurs in the conventional pile scraping process, and a knitted fabric with high quality and high pile can be obtained.
