転時に黒鉛崩れを生じ黒鉛が燃焼室へ流入する問題を有
していた。

を取付けてヘッドガスケットとされる。環状の黒鉛シー
トを取付ける手段は接着剤による接着又はプレスによる
圧着による。環状の黒鉛シートの厚さは特に制限がない
金属リングは運転時の黒鉛筋れを防止し使用温度に耐え
るものであればよく材質に制限はないが通常は軟鋼を用
いる。金属リングの内径は熱膨張を考慮し燃焼室の直径
よシ若干大きくしておき、その他の部分の寸法について
は制限はない。
