Abstract

PURPOSE:To break the transmission of drive power at the final stage of rapid traverse or rewinding mode of a tape by providing the rapid traversing and rewinding gears of large diameters separately from an operating pulley to attach them to a shaft with an operating shaft defined as an axial core and providing a clutch between both gears and the pulley for connection. CONSTITUTION:When an operating pulley 6 is rotated, an operating shaft 3 coupled to the pulley 6 via a clutch 10 is rotated. Then a recording/reproduction driving gear 14 of a small diameter is rotated. Thus the drive power of the pulley 6 is transmitted in the form of the drive power for recording/reproduction of a tape by connecting a recording/reproduction gear system to the gear 14. When the tape is not fed any more at the final stage of the tape recording or reproducing mode, the load is applied to the shaft 3. 、価格を安く出来ないという問題点があり、早送りある
いは巻戻し時にかかる比較的大きい張力によってテープ
が破損しない程度に弱まることは余儀無いこととされて
いた。

級機でなくとも安価なまま高級機と同じ機能をもたせる
