蚊、ゴキブリ等の害虫対策にも使用できる薬剤の研究を
行なった結果、揮散性薬剤としてペーパスリンを使用し
た衣料用防虫剤が、市販のパラジクロールベンゼン、ナ
フタリンやショクツク製剤のと異なり、衣料害虫に対す
る防虫効果のみならず殺虫力をも兼備していること、又
、パラジクロールベンゼン、ナフタリンやショクツク製
剤のような防虫剤特有の強い臭いや刺激をもたないこと
から目的に適合することを見い出した。
