Claims

In a speaker having a substantially rectangular planar diaphragm made of a transparent thin film material with a voice coil wound and fixed in a single voice coil mounting groove, the voice coil is placed outside the voice coil in a magnetic gap. A planar drive type speaker characterized in that a space is provided at the center back surface of the diaphragm by providing a magnet and fixing a yoke made of a magnetic plate to the magnet to form a magnetic gap.
