Claims

A planar drive type speaker in which a plurality of permanent magnets each having a top yoke of a rectangular flat plate are arranged in parallel to appropriately form a magnetic gap, and a voice coil is movably held in the magnetic gap to generate acoustic output. A planar drive type speaker according to claim 1, wherein side yokes are arranged at a predetermined interval on both sides of the top yoke in a direction perpendicular to the linear magnetic gap between the top yokes to form a magnetic gap.
