As a solution to the above problems,
There is a stud disclosed in No. 079. This stud is shown in Figure 20 (a
), the pedestal 3 protrudes below the male rivet head 31.
2 into the hollow cylindrical body 34 of the female rivet head 33,
The tip opening edge 35 of the hollow cylindrical body 34 is pushed into the diagonal groove 36 on the outer peripheral surface of the base of the pedestal 32 and locked therein, thereby fixing the thumbtacks to each other.

However, with the above stud, as shown in Fig. 20(b),
When a male stud and a female stud are assembled, the distance between the two heads 1.4 is always constant. Therefore, when the thickness of the plurality of plate materials etc. held by thumbtacks is smaller than the distance between the two heads wt and the head 1.4, the plates are not fixed to each other, and the thickness of the plate materials etc. is smaller than the distance between the two heads wt and the head 1.4. If the distance is larger than 4, the tip opening edge 35 of the female tack will not reach the diagonal groove 36 of the male tack, and the tack cannot be assembled. Therefore, depending on the thickness of the plate material, etc.
It is necessary to use male plates and male studs having pedestals 32 and hollow cylinders 34 of different lengths, and it is complicated to manufacture and manage these different male plates and male studs.

Although this riveting tool can accommodate changes in the thickness of the plate material, etc. by adjusting the amount of insertion of the pin 37 into the cylinder 39 of the socket 38, as shown in FIG. 21(b), If the socket 38 is too thin, the tip of the pin 37 will protrude from the bottom surface of the socket 38. Therefore, the problem arises that the appearance of the tacked product is significantly impaired and the commercial value is reduced.
