Conventionally, in a wedge-type contact wire clamping device, the contact wire is held between the lower parts of a pair of opposing ear pieces that are pivotally connected to each other in the center, and a wedge is press-fitted between the upper parts to hold the contact wire. In order to prevent the loosening of the overhead contact line clamping force due to machining errors in the pivot pin or shaft hole and repeated use on several types of overhead contact lines with tolerances, the pivot pin has a slit and an outward expanding spring force. A cylindrical type was used. However, even with this type of clamping force, there are variations in the loosening prevention effect, and the intended purpose cannot be fully achieved.
The present invention is characterized by elucidating and eliminating the cause of the dispersion in effectiveness of these types of contact wire clamping fittings.

An example will be described below with reference to the drawings. This metal fitting consists of a pair of opposing ear pieces 1 and 2, and a pivot pin 3.
, a wedge support pin 4, and a wedge 5.
The ear pieces 1 and 2 each have teeth capable of gripping the overhead contact wire T at the lower part thereof, and a convex part for mutually pivotally connecting each other at the center part. Hole 1 passing through the pivoting convex portions of ear pieces 1 and 2
A pivot pin 3 is inserted into a and 2a. This pivot pin 3 is a cylinder with a slit 3a made by winding a rectangular spring plate, and its outer diameter is the same as that of the hole 1a.
2a, and is press-fitted into the hole so as to always exert a spring force that expands outward. Although not shown,
A plurality of concave and convex portions that can be alternately engaged can be provided on both edges of the slit 3a. pivot pin 3
insert the slit 3a into either ear piece 1 or 2.
It shall be inserted into the holes 1a and 2a toward the side. After insertion, both ends are caulked to prevent it from falling out. When the pivot pin 3 is inserted in this direction, there is less plastic deformation than when it is oriented upward or downward, and it maintains a stable spring force even after repeated use or long-term use. do. This is also clear from the experimental results shown in FIG. In this experiment, the outer diameter φ (approximately 5.3 This is a comparison of changes in the average amount of compressive deflection (mm). According to this, in the case of A, the amount of deformation increases from a compressive load of about 300 kg, and at about 600 kg the slit 3a
Both edges of are in close contact. On the other hand, in case B, the relationship between load and deflection is linear, indicating stability. Furthermore, the amount of plastic deformation after the experiment was approximately 0.28 mm to 0.35 mm in case A, while it was relatively small in case B, approximately 0.06 mm to 0.07 mm. One of the reasons for this difference is thought to be that wrinkles are formed on the back part during pin processing and are removed by barrel polishing, which weakens the back part. That is, in case B, by directing the back of the pin 3 toward either ear piece 1 or 2, the load applied to the weak part can be dispersed, so a stable spring force can be obtained. it is conceivable that.

The wedge support pin 4 is located above one end of the pivot pin, and has both ends supported by both ear pieces 1 and 2 in a direction perpendicular to the pivot pin, but does not prevent rotation of both ear pieces about the pivot pin. The holes are generously sized to avoid this. The wedge 5 is pivoted at one end on this wedge support pin, and the other end can be press-fitted between the upper parts of the ear pieces 1, 2.

Clamping fittings are used repeatedly during repeated re-stretching of overhead contact lines, and are applied to contact lines with slightly different wire diameters each time. A strong clamping force must always be maintained with a so-called tightening effect that can be absorbed. The reduction in clamping force causes the overhead contact line to skid, which leads to catenary accidents. In conventional wedge-type clamping fittings, as mentioned above, no consideration is given to the insertion direction of the pivot pin 3, so the pivot pin is easily deformed plastically due to compressive force and the expansion force is easily weakened, and it cannot be easily used due to the above-mentioned abuse. Sometimes I can't stand it. In contrast, in the present invention, the cylindrical pivot pin 3 is inserted with its slit 3a facing either ear piece 1 or 2, so that if it is oriented in another direction, In comparison, plastic deformation is small, and the elastic expansion force can be maintained without excessive reduction even when used repeatedly on overhead contact lines with different wire diameters. Due to the elastic outward opening characteristic of the pivot pin 3, it adapts well to the deformation of the pin hole or variations in the diameter of the contact wire, and acts in the same way as expanding the outside diameter of the pin, and its center point remains at a fixed position. Therefore, the clamping force of the ear pieces 1 and 2 does not change even after repeated use over a long period of time. This is a feature of the present invention.
