Today, patchwork patterns are often used for kotatsubuttons, cushions, etc., but the traditional manufacturing method was to manufacture patches with different patterns in advance and then piece them together. Because it was done by hand, it required a lot of effort and was time-consuming.

The present invention aims to solve the above-mentioned problems, and an example of implementing the present invention will be explained below based on the accompanying drawings.

This drawing is for obtaining two different patch patterns, and FIGS. 1A and 1B are outer materials 1 and 1' for this purpose. A and b are printed patterns divided in the vertical direction on the surfaces of the outer materials 1 and 1', respectively, and the arrangement of the printed patterns a and b is different between FIGS. A and B.

Next, in the present invention, quilting cotton 2 (approximately 80 g per m 2 ) is brought into contact with the back surface of the outer fabrics 1 and 1', and in the illustrated example, multiple stitches are applied to pattern a to perform quilting. . Quilting is on outer material 1,
1', but at this time, the quilting causes the fabric in the color pattern area to shrink somewhat in the width direction, so the fabric width S in the area is set in advance to be larger than the width S' of other parts, at a rate commensurate with the shrinkage during the quilting operation, that is, in the range of approximately 2 to 3%.

Figure 5 shows the outer fabric 4 produced in this way, and in order to use it to make a kotatsu futon, as shown in Figure 6, a certain amount of futon cotton 5 is applied to the outer fabric as a lining 6 or The lining 6 and the hem cloth 7 (the latter is shown in the figure) are wrapped and brought into contact with each other, and the peripheral sides are sewn.

Then, sewing is performed from the upper surface of the outer material 4 using the patch patterns a and b as division boundaries, and the outer material 4 and the lining material 6 are sewn together to form a kotatsubutton 8.

Although the above embodiment has been explained using a kotatsubutton as an example, a cushion can also be manufactured in the same manner. Furthermore, although the quilting has been described as being performed only on pattern a, it may also be partially performed on pattern b. In this example, patch patterns a and b are obtained using two different patterns, but it is also possible to use colored patterns or a mixture of colored patterns, etc. as appropriate, and three different patterns may be used. In order to obtain patch patterns a, b, and c, prepare three outer fabrics 1, 1', and 1'' with different patterns and color patterns a, b, and c as appropriate, and perform the same process. , and those with more patterns and colors are also possible in the same way. However, in any case, at least one of the different patterns or colors should be quilted. In addition, in the horizontal direction The cutting width interval H may be selected to have a different width (for example, in the illustrated example, the cutting unit is 2H) depending on the shape, size, number, etc. of the pattern.

The present invention is carried out as described above, and it is possible to simplify the conventional troublesome work process and manufacture products with the same effect extremely efficiently.
It would be great if it could dramatically improve productivity and contribute to reducing product costs.
