製の収納部を介して間接的に冷却せざるを得ず、
冷却効果が低下する問題がある。これに対処すべ
く収納部に代わつて開口部を設け卵を開口部に途
中までの貫通状態に保持するようにすれば、卵の
略全体が冷気に晒され冷却効果は向上する。

ているもので、卵2を卵ケース1の開口部3に保
持させて冷却運転を行なうと、卵2の上半部分が
冷気に晒される一方、冷気が通気孔6を介して卵
ケース1内に侵入し、卵2の下半部分も冷気に晒
される。この結果、卵2の略全体が冷気に晒され
ることになつて卵2の冷却効果が向上する。しか
も、液受け部5を開口部3に対向させて設けたた
め、液受け部5は卵2の下端部の直下に位置す
る。従つて、卵2の殻が割れた場合、卵液Aは卵
2の下端部に向かつて流下し、そこから滴下する
ものの、遂には液受け部5に受けられてしまう。
