Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a permanent magnet which can be adhered by merely giving heat by a method wherein a hot melt bonding agent is mixed in a magnetic material, and they are molded and magnetized. CONSTITUTION:A permanent magnet 8 is a plastic magnet wherein a hot melt bonding agent is mixed. The hot melt bonding agent is fused by applying heat using a hot press and the like, and the permanent magnet 8 is adhered and fixed to the surface of a cushion material 2. Said hot melt bonding agent is composed of thermoplastic resin, an adhesion-giving agent, wax and the like, and a multicomponent bonding agent is obtained as occasion demands by adding an anti-oxidation agent and a filler.

<Background of the Invention> For example, a health appliance has been proposed that uses a plurality of permanent magnets on the surface of a mat to apply magnetic lines of force to the human body, thereby promoting blood circulation and relieving stiffness and fatigue. However, in the case of this type of device, adhesive is applied to the back side of the permanent magnet and this is adhered to the mat surface.
It takes time and effort to manufacture the instruments, reducing manufacturing efficiency.

According to this invention, since it is possible to bond the permanent magnets by simply applying heat, it is possible to manufacture devices using permanent magnets more efficiently than with the conventional method of applying adhesive. It has many excellent effects, such as eliminating restrictions on the shape and use of permanent magnets and expanding the range of products that use permanent magnets.
