る材料に関する。DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION [Field of Industrial Application] The present invention relates to a penetrant remover for liquid penetrant testing, and more specifically to a method for applying a penetrant to a predetermined part of the surface of a specimen where an opening defect is assumed to exist. Then, the penetrating liquid is removed so that the penetrating liquid that has penetrated into the opening defect remains, and then a developer is applied to the predetermined area to reveal the opening defect in which the penetrating liquid remains. Liquid Penetrant Test ↓ This relates to materials used to remove penetrant liquid applied to the surface of the specimen.

This type of liquid penetrant testing method involves applying the penetrating liquid 2 to the specimen 1, as shown in Figure 2b, and removing the excess penetrant by wiping it off with a cloth impregnated with a solvent or using pressurized water. This is done by washing with water. Table 1 shows the combinations of penetrating liquid 2 and developer 5 used in the liquid penetrant testing method and the processing procedure.

Furthermore, regarding cleaning methods, it is generally said that the method of removing penetrating liquid using a solvent has a higher defect detection sensitivity and is more advantageous than the method of removing the penetrating liquid using water washing. law is applied. Furthermore, in the case of automatic continuous cleaning, a water washing method is applied. Next, regarding the developing method, the quick-drying type is a spray type and is convenient to carry, so it is used for testing large plants and large machines.
また無現像法は回転体等の試験に適用されている。Furthermore, the non-developing method is applied to testing rotating objects.

In general, the detection of opening defects requires a considerable degree of skill and also requires a large number of man-hours.

The present invention was completed by discovering that it can be carried out reliably.

Of the inorganic powders and organic powders exemplified above, particularly preferred ones may be used by mixing inorganic powders or organic powders together, or by mixing inorganic powders and organic powders. By appropriately mixing powders with different adsorption capacities, it is possible to obtain a penetrating liquid remover suitable for each liquid penetrant test.

。The particle size of the powder used in the penetrating liquid remover of the present invention is 5 to 2.
Preferably, it is 0μ. The reason why the particle size is preferably in this range is that if the particle size is less than 5μ, the powder may enter the opening defect and absorb and remove the penetrating liquid in the opening defect, and if it exceeds 20μ, the powder may enter the opening defect. This is because the body may not be able to uniformly adsorb and remove the penetrating liquid on the surface of the subject. A particularly preferable particle size of the powder used in the penetrant remover of the present invention is about 10 μm.
