は水道に接続された給水管7が、一方タンクの頂部から
は使用先の給湯コック8との間を結んで給湯管9が引出
し配管されている。また給水管7の途中には減圧逆止弁
io、 m整弁11が、タンクの頂部には給湯管9の引
出し端部に自動空気抜き弁12および安全弁13が設置
されている。なお14は貯湯槽の胴中央に接続して容器
内温度、圧力が異常に上昇した際に弁を開いて貯湯槽内
の湯を緊急排出する温圧弁である。かかる構成の動作は
よく知られているところ゛であり、太陽熱集熱器1で受
けた日射Sにより熱媒を加熱して熱交換器5との間で熱
媒を循環し、貯湯槽2内に滞留している水を加熱して湯
に変える。この状態で給湯コック8を開くと貯湯槽2か
ら給湯管9を通じて使用先に湯が供給され、同時に給水
管7を通じて水道水が槽内に補給される。
ところで地震等で大規模な天災が発生した際には水道が
長期に亙って断水する非常事態が生じることがある。こ
のような非常事態に対処するものとして、水道管路の途
中に介装して常時槽内に水を蓄えておく水備蓄槽が一部
で開発販売されている。しかしてかかる非常用の飲料用
水備蓄槽を家庭内に設置することはスペースの面で困難
を伴うし、かつ充分な耐震性、耐凍結性、保温性を確保
するためには価格面でも相当に高価なものとなる等の難
点がある。また水道の断水と同時に都市ガスが停止した
場合には、前記の備蓄槽では直ちに湯を得ることができ
ない不便さもある。
この発明は上記の点にかんがみなされたものであり、家
庭用としてその普及化が進んでいる頭記の太陽熱給湯シ
ステムを利用し、天災等に備えて非常用飲料水の備蓄、
給水、給湯が行えるようにした貯湯槽を提供することを

ように動作するものである。
上記の構成により、太陽熱給湯システムの使用状態で水
道の断水が発生した非常時の際に非常用給水コツ・り1
5を開くと、真空破壊弁16が作動して貯湯槽2内の底
部域に貯留されている水が自然流下式に吐き出される。
さらに給水を続ければ槽内上部域に滞留している湯が得
られるようになる。

なお非常給水、給湯を行うに際して前記した真空破壊弁
16の代わりに空気抜き弁12を手動で開放してもよい
