Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable a character to be securely corrected and enable clear reprinting to be conducted, by providing a heat-sensitive adhesivelayer on one side of an elongate film of a synthetic resin. CONSTITUTION:The heat-sensitive adhesive layer 2 is provided on one side of the elongate film 1. When correcting a character printed on a paper by using a black ink ribbon or the like, the film 1 is passed between the paper and a thermal head in place of the ink ribbon, with the adhesive layer 2 opposed to the paper. Then, an adhesive in the adhesive layer 2 is melted by the thermal head, and the ink on the paper is lift off by the adhesive layer 2. In this case, the lifting-off force is extremely high, since the adhesive is melted. When reprinting, a character can be clearly printed, since the ink has been securely lifted off from the part to be corrected of the paper.

Therefore, since the ink is difficult to peel off when correcting typographical errors, the correction area is printed overlappingly with a white ink ribbon.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention However, since the white ink is also melted by heat, when reprinting on the correction area, the ink itself adheres to the ink ribbon for reprinting, making the print unclear or staining the paper. There are other problems. It is also possible to erase characters using a collection ribbon coated with an extremely strong adhesive, but this is inconvenient because there is a risk of erasing characters other than those to be erased.

この発明はこのような点に鑑みなされたもので。This invention was made in view of these points.

When erasing characters, the film 1 is passed between the correction part and the thermal head, and the adhesive layer 2 is melted by the heat of the thermal head to enhance the adhesive action, and the ink from the erroneous characters on the paper is transferred to the adhesive layer 2.

Embodiment A first embodiment of the present invention will be explained based on FIGS. 1 and 2. Reference numeral 1 denotes a long film made of polystyrene, and a heat-sensitive adhesive layer 2 is formed on one surface of the film 1. This adhesive layer 2 is made of a mixture of two types of adhesives and a stabilizer.

In such a configuration, when erasing characters printed on a paper using a black ink ribbon or the like, the film 1 is passed between the paper and the thermal helmet instead of the ink ribbon. Adhesive layer 2 faces the paper side.

Then, the adhesive of the adhesive layer 2 is melted by the thermal head, and the ink on the paper is peeled off by the adhesive layer 2. Since the adhesive is melted, the peeling force at this time is extremely strong. However, since the adhesive layer 2 is locally heated, the excess portions are not melted, and therefore only the portions to be erased can be accurately erased. Erase characters quickly and reliably.

When reprinting, the ink is reliably removed from the corrected portion of the paper, so that clear printing can be achieved.

Next, a second embodiment of the present invention will be described based on FIG. The same parts as in the previous embodiment are designated by the same reference numerals, and the description thereof will be omitted. In this embodiment, one side of the film 1 is divided into two parallel zones, one zone is coated with black or other heat-sensitive ink to form a printing ink layer 3, and the other zone is coated with a heat-sensitive adhesive layer. 2 was formed.

When such a ribbon for both printing and erasing is used, a printer equipped with a ribbon shift mechanism is used. i.e. 1
Normally, the printing ink layer 3 is positioned between the paper and the thermal head for printing, and when erasing the characters, the adhesive layer 3 is placed opposite the thermal head.

Furthermore, a third embodiment of the present invention will be described based on FIGS. 4 and 5. In this embodiment, an adhesive layer 2 is formed on one side of a film 1, and a printing ink layer 3 is further formed thereon.

Therefore, in the printed portion, an ink removal portion 3a is formed in the printing ink layer 3 as shown in FIG. If the printed character is a typo, the ink removal section 3a is positioned at the correction section and the adhesive layer 2 peels off the ink from the typo.

Effects of the Invention Since the present invention is constructed as described above, the heat-sensitive adhesive layer can reliably peel off the ink in the erroneous area, and since the adhesive layer is locally heated by the thermal head, it is possible to remove the ink in the area other than the corrected area. The ink does not peel off and has the effect of making it possible to print clearly when reprinting.
