Abstract

PURPOSE:To permit the simple reset in oil exchange and prevent the erroneous operation in other states by installing a reset switch onto the engine-side mounting and demounting part of a member which needs the mounting and demounting operation in oil exchange. CONSTITUTION:In oil exchange, an oil filler cap 11 and a packing 13 are demounted from the locker cover 12 of an engine. The lever 18A of a microswitch 18 is operated through a pushing down pin 15B and the engagement edge part 15C of a pushing-down pin 15 by pushing-in a small diameter rod corresponding to the diameter of a pin hole 14 into the hole 14, and a calculation part 5 is put into reset state. The work is completed by removing the small-diameter rod. Since the pin hole 14 is in shielded state because of the fitting of the oil filler cap 11 except in oil exchange, reset operation is not carried-out erroneously, even in inspection and repair work.

@lrgJ shows one embodiment of the present invention, and this example is an example in which a reset switch is disposed at a position related to the oil filler cap. Here, 11 is an oil filler cap provided on, for example, a rocker cover 12 of the engine, and 13 is its backing. Therefore, in this example, a stepped bottle hole 14 is provided at a position related to the backing joint surface 12A of the rocker cover 12, and the flanged portion 14 is provided in the bottle hole 14.
Insert the push pin 15 having a diameter of 5A from the inside and tighten the spring 1.
The flange 15A of the push pin 15 is moved to the stepped portion 1 by the spring force of 8.

[Effects] As explained above, according to the present invention, a reset switch that sends a reset signal to a calculation unit for calculating the operating history of the engine is removably attached to the engine side and is required at the time of oil change. The reset switch is provided in connection with the engine-side attachment/detachment section for parts that are attached and detached without any problems, and the reset switch cannot be energized and a reset signal sent unless at least the above-mentioned member is removed. During the process, the reset switch was activated due to a malfunction, and the history up to that point was erased.
