Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a compact 180 deg. electric power distributor which is easily produced by making use of the conversion between a strip line and a slot line to divide a signal into two parts and securing a 180 deg. phase difference between both signals. CONSTITUTION:The signal supplied through an input terminal 5 is transmitted through the 1st strip line 1 and divided by a converter 8 into both directions along a slot line 4 with connection of 3dB respectively. These divided signals are connected to the 2nd and 3rd strip lines 2 and 3 at converting parts 9 and 10 through the line 4 and then delivered from the 1st and 2nd output terminals 6 and 7 through each strip line. As a result, the 1/2 signal supplied through the terminal 5 is delivered to both terminal 6 and 7 respectively as long as the loss produced in mid course is neglected. Furthermore the connecting directions are set opposite to each other between the line 4 and the lines 2 and 3 when the conversion is performed between them at the parts 9 and 10. Thus the phase difference can be set at 180 deg. between both signals delivered through terminals 6 and 7.
