布しておいたグリースによるだけであり、運転中
にグリースが流出して、潤滑の役目を充分に果さ
ないため、スプライン係合部に摩耗、発錆、焼付
等が生じ、摩耗が進行してくると、スプラインの
歯が破損して、動力伝達が不可能になるという問
題があつた。

し、上記グリース室壁にグリース供給孔を設けて
同グリース室と上記スプライン係合部とを連通し
たことを特徴とする動力伝達装置に係わり、その
目的とする処は、被動軸の回転による遠心力によ
りグリース室内のグリースをスプライン係合部の
全体に充分にゆき渡らせることができて、スプラ
イン係合部に生じていた摩耗、発錆、焼付等を長
期間に亘り防止できる。またグリース供給部を小
型、軽量化できる改良された動力伝達装置を供す
る点にある。

円筒外周面との間を同被動軸の周りに被嵌した環
状シール部材によりシールし、上記グリース室壁
にグリース供給孔を設けて同グリース室と上記ス
プライン係合部とを連通したので、被動軸の回転
による遠心力によりグリース室内のグリースをス
プライン係合部の全体に充分にゆき渡らせること
ができて、スプライン係合部に生じていた摩耗、
発錆、焼付等を長期間に亘り防止できる。また上
記のようにグリースをスプライン係合部に供給す
るグリース室を被動軸内に設けたので、グリース
供給部を小型、軽量化できる効果がある。
