ロツカーアームシヤフト内にはロツカーアームと
連動する摺動軸を軸方向摺動可能に装着して、ロ
ツカーアームがいずれか一方のカムに係合する第
1位置とロツカーアームが他方のカムに係合する
第2位置との間で摺動軸が変位して弁の作動モー
ドを切換える様になし、前記摺動軸はばね手段に
よつて前記第1位置に向つて付勢し、前記摺動軸
と整列して弁作動モード切換え時に摺動軸を前記
第2位置に向つて駆動する油圧アクチユエータを
設け、前記油圧アクチユエータと摺動軸との間に
はラチエツト式ロツク機構を設けて前記油圧アク
チユエータの作動毎に摺動軸が交互に前記第2位
置にロツクされ又は第2位置から釈放される様に
