る。

能を保持するためパツキンが取付けられている。
そして、サツシの召合せ部の気密を保持するため
一方の召合せ框には他方の召合せ框にラツプする
パツキンが備えられているが、前記一方の召合せ
框のパツキン取付部である内部側面の長さを上框
から下框までとすると、開閉する際に上枠および
下枠のうちの各パツキン取付部である垂直壁に当
るため前記内部側面の上下両端には切欠部があ
り、容易に開閉できるようになつている。そのた
め外部側から風雨が吹き付けると、風雨等の外気
が前記切欠部のすき間から内部に侵入するので、
気密性能の点で不完全な欠点があつた。なお、召
合せ框の上下両端の切欠部を封止する構造も見ら
れたが、従来の構造では障子の自重によるたれ下
りにより気密性が阻害される欠点があつた。
