[Detailed Description of the Invention] The present invention relates to an improvement of a suede-like string-like article. Conventionally, this type of suede-like string has generally been made of natural leather or artificial suede-like fabric cut into strings. However, leather strings are expensive and long because they are made of raw leather. The drawback is that it cannot produce long, continuous strings, and can only produce products with a maximum length of about 10 meters. In addition, when artificial suede cloth is cut into strings, long continuous strings can be obtained, but since the cross-sectional shape of the strings is rectangular, the front and back sides of the strings are easily reversed when making braids and knits, resulting in uniform braids. , it has the disadvantage that it is difficult to knit.

The present invention was developed as a result of various studies to improve these shortcomings of conventional products. is 1~10mm
A large number of fluffs consisting of short fibers are densely grown, and the base portion is coated with a binder consisting of a high molecular weight elastic polymer of 2 to 40%.
It is a suede-like string-like material containing OWF.

次に図面によつて本考案を説明する。 Next, the present invention will be explained with reference to the drawings.

In FIGS. 1 and 2, 1 is a knitted fabric interlining 2 is fluff 3 is a high-molecular elastic polymer. It is. In the present invention, the interlining fabric may be any type of knitted fabric as long as it has a texture that curls when stretched, but a single-knit jersey texture is more preferable.

The material for this knitted fabric is preferably a synthetic resin with setting properties since it is necessary to perform tape cutting, stretching, curling, and setting in the subsequent process, but setting with resin is also possible, and the material is not particularly limited.

In order to produce a suede-like effect as surface fiber fluff, it is necessary to use single fibers with a fineness of 1 denier or less, and preferably ultrafine fibers of about 0.001 to 0.4 denier. As the ultrafine fibers, fibers obtained by any method such as direct spinning, sea-island fiber, easily splittable fiber, etc. can be used. These fibers are cut into short fibers with a fiber length of 1 to 10 mm and used, and are intertwined with a knitted fabric serving as an interlining to create a fluffy appearance on the surface. The entangling method is to make short fibers into a sheet-like material, load it onto a knitted fabric, and entangle it from the top by high-pressure liquid flow treatment (the string-like material in Figure 1 is based on this method). Alternatively, it is also possible to adhere short fibers to the surface of the knitted fabric by flocking or the like (the string-like material in FIG. 2 is based on this method). In order to make a more suede-like string, it is necessary to use ultra-fine fibers and increase the surface fuzz density. For this purpose, the former method is more preferable.

The elastomeric polymer is added for the purpose of reinforcing the entanglement between the surface fluff and the knitted fabric, and improving the elasticity and texture of the string, depending on the purpose. Granted in the range of 40% owf. The elastomeric polymer used is
Resins such as NBR, SBR, acrylic, nylon, and urethane are used and are applied by conventional means, such as padding and spraying. A more suede-like product can be obtained by adopting a method in which the elastomeric polymer does not adhere to the surface fluff, but instead adheres to the base of the fluff and the inside of the knitted fabric. In order to achieve such an adhering state, it is possible to apply an appropriate method such as applying an elastic polymer to the surface fluff after pretreatment, or grinding the resin adhering to the surface by sanding or the like.

The fabric thus obtained is given a soft finish, a water-repellent finish, etc. depending on the intended use, and then
Cut the tape in the radial direction to any width. after that,
By stretching the tape, it curls in the width direction and becomes a substantially circular string-like object. In this state, there is a risk of shrinkage during post-processing, so heat setting, resin setting, etc. are performed to make the product.

As explained above, the suede-like cord of the present invention is produced by tape cutting after fabric production.
It is possible to make a large amount of string at once, and
By arbitrarily changing the width of the tape cut, it is possible to create a wide range of strings from thin to thick, and since a continuous, nearly circular string can be obtained, there is no need to worry about surface inversion when making braided knitted fabrics. It has the great advantage of being able to create something that doesn't already exist. In addition, since knitted fabric is used as the interlining, the string is soft, supple and elastic, making it a very elegant suede-like string.
