本考案はスウエード調紐状物の改良に関するも
のである。従来、この種のスウエード調紐状物と
しては、天然皮革からなる皮紐や人工スウエード
調布帛を紐状に切断したものが一般に用いられて
いる
しかし皮紐は高価でしかも原皮の関係から、長
いものが出来ず最長でも10m位の製品しか得られ
ず連続した長い紐が得られない欠点がある。又人
工スウエード調布帛を紐状に切断したものは連続
した長い紐は得られるが紐の断面形状が矩形とな
る為、組物、編物を作る際に紐の表裏が反転しや

あればどのようなものでも良いが、シングルニツ

れの繊維は繊維長が1〜10mmの短繊維にカツトし
て用いられ、芯地である編地と交絡させることに
よつて表面毛羽を現出させる。交絡方法として
は、短繊維を抄紙し、シート状物とした後、編地
上に積載し、上部より高圧液流処理等によつて交
絡させる方法(第1図の紐状物はこの方法によ
る)、或いは短繊維をフロツク加工等により編地
表面に接着させる方法(第2図の紐状物はこの方
法による)も可能である。よりスウエード調の紐
を作る為には極細繊維を用いて、表面毛羽密度も
多くする必要がある。この為には前者の方法がよ

弾性重合体が付着せず、毛羽の根本部分及び編地
内部に付着するような方法を取つた方がよりスウ
エード調のものが得られる。この様な付着状態と
する為には表面毛羽部を前処理後に高分子弾性重
合体を付与する方法、サンデイング等によつて表
面付着樹脂を研削する方法等適宜応用が可能であ

来るという大きな利点を有している。又、芯地と
して編地を使用している為、紐はソフトでしなや
かな弾性を有しとおり、非常に優雅なスウエード
