This invention relates to waterproof fabric for repairing canvas, sheets, etc. Canvases, sheets, canopies, etc. are easily stained and torn, and are exposed to water pressure, wind pressure, and wind and rain, so they naturally need to be strong, and at the same time, strong repair is essential in the event of damage. For this reason, conventional repairs of this kind have been carefully performed using sewing machines, which requires a lot of time and effort, resulting in high costs. Particularly in the case of truck hoods, they are large, so if the center part is damaged, it would be difficult to repair it with a sewing machine with a narrow sewing width, so duct tape, paper, or vinyl tape was used to repair it, but it is too weak and easy to repair. The reality is that it becomes useless. Therefore, the object of this invention is to eliminate the above-mentioned drawbacks by providing a repair waterproof fabric that enables easy and powerful repair. Next, the structure and operation of this invention will be explained in detail with reference to illustrative drawings. Waterproof fabrics made of nylon, vinylon or polyester base fabric coated with soft resin on the front and back sides of materials to be repaired such as canvas, sheets, tents or canopies. On both sides of cloth 2
A wide and thick waterproof cloth 4 such as a tarpaulin is formed by coating a soft resin layer 3 such as PVC resin, and has the same color (or a similar color) as the material 1 to be repaired such as a canvas, sheet, or canopy. A quick-drying adhesive layer 5 is thickly applied to the back side of the waterproof cloth 4, and a separator 6 made of Hatron, paraffin paper, or resin is attached to the adhesive layer 5. is formed into a roll body 7. Therefore, in use, after cutting the material to an appropriate length, the separator 6 made of Hatron, paraffin paper, or resin is peeled off and adhered to the damaged part using the adhesive layer 5, and repair work is simple and , become something powerful. In addition, as in Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 40-21335, a synthetic resin film is formed on the back side of a water-repellent synthetic fiber knitted fabric so as not to impair its breathability, and an adhesive is applied on top of the synthetic resin film. , materials for interior decoration with non-adhesive paper bonded to the surface have been proposed, but these are thin synthetic fibers with a synthetic resin coating formed on the back side of the knitted fabric so as not to impair its breathability. It cannot withstand wind and water pressure, and strong repair cannot be expected at all depending on the adhesive that adheres to the film. However, in this invention, PVC is used on both the front and back sides of the nylon, vinylon, or polyester base fabric 2, which is the same material as the material to be repaired such as canvas, sheet, or canopy.
A quick-drying adhesive layer 5 is thickly applied to the uneven surface of a thick and wide tarpaulin-like waterproof fabric cloth 4 formed by coating a soft resin layer 3 such as a resin, so it has a strong adhesive force and is thick. Since the waterproof fabric 4 is strong, it can withstand strong wind and water pressure. Furthermore, since it is made into a roll body 7 in the form of a band, it is easy to carry and can be used extremely simply by cutting it to an appropriate length and peeling off the separator 6. Furthermore, the heat-sensitive adhesive sheet disclosed in Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 48-100846 is a waterproof cloth 4 in which a soft resin layer 3 such as PVC resin is coated on the front and back sides of a nylon, vinylon, or polyester base cloth 2 as in this invention. Unlike the repair fabric of this invention, since the fibrous base sheet is waterproofed with a waterproof rubber layer, it is not only inferior to the repair fabric of this invention in terms of cost, but also the fabric fabric using the resin of this invention. In this case, it is technically difficult to attach waterproof rubber to one side, and even if it were possible, it would necessarily be thick and thick when used as a waterproof cloth for repairing materials such as tents. Therefore, there are some difficulties in using it. Furthermore, it is clear that the waterproof fabric 4 of this invention, which is a nylon, vinylon or polyester base fabric 2 coated with a soft resin layer 3 on the front and back sides, cannot be technically used with waterproof rubber treatment. However, in the method of forming the adhesive layer, a heat-sensitive adhesive layer is formed on one side of a fibrous base sheet, and the adhesive adhered to the sheet is heated to a certain level during adhesion. Since the adhesive is melted and bonded, heat treatment must be performed each time it is used, which is extremely inconvenient. However, this invention uses a quick-drying adhesive instead of a heat-sensitive adhesive that takes time to bond, and uses Hatron or paraffin paper to prevent the adhesive from drying and evaporating before use. Alternatively, it is convenient because the resin separator can be peeled off and bonded continuously. Furthermore, this invention uses a tarpaulin-like waterproof fabric 4 formed by coating the front and back sides of a nylon, vinylon, or polyester base fabric 2 with a soft resin layer 3 such as PVC resin, which is made wide and thick to make the same Since it is formed into a belt shape with the same width, it becomes a strong repair waterproof fabric that can withstand wind and water pressure and has excellent weather resistance and chemical resistance, as shown in the table below. Therefore, strong repair is possible.

[Front] Since the adhesive layer 5 is thickened and adhered to the soft resin layer 3 on the back side of the waterproof cloth 4, it can be strongly adhered to the damaged part. That is, the fabric cloth 4
Since the adhesive layer 5 is thickly adhered to the uneven surface of the tape, the adhesive strength is significantly superior to that of conventional adhesive tapes. This adhesive strength effect is also produced by dissolving the waterproofing agent on the surface of the material by applying the adhesive. Therefore, unless the same material is used, conventional adhesive cloths will be completely useless as they will fray or peel and cause cracks. As described above, this invention uses a waterproof fabric 4 that is lightweight, strong, and has excellent waterproof properties, that is, a nylon, vinylon, or polyester base fabric 2 coated with a soft resin layer 3 on the front and back sides. , Canvas with the same effect and the same color as this,
Since it is adhered to the sheet or canopy with a strong adhesive force, it fits well and the waterproof fabric 4 can fully exhibit its toughness, weather resistance, and wind and water pressure resistance, and has excellent practical effects.
