Abstract

CONSTITUTION:At the time of printing operation, the ink ribbon 5 delivered from an ink ribbon pan cake 1 and guided by a guide roller 3 is fed corresponding to the movement of a carriage while contacted with recording paper between a thermal head and a platen roller under pressure and taken up by a take-up core 2 but the pressure distribution of the ink ribbon 5 generated by a curve A-A', when the ink ribbon 5 passes the contact cross-section A-A' of the guide roller 3 while receives the predetermined tension to the running direction thereof, receives automatic centering with respect to the guide roller 3 to correct the skew of the ink ribbon.
