びプラテン4が同周速度で回転を始める。この時第6図
に示すように発熱ヘッド2及び押えローラ1[1,11
は図示せぬ手段でプラテン4から離隔されている。紙送
υローラ12,13によって送られてきた記録紙1は紙
検出器17によりその先端を検出され更に発熱ヘッド2
より若干送られた後発熱ヘッド2及び押えローラ10,
11が第1図の状態に押圧され印写が開始される。尚こ
の時熱転写シート7はシート色検出器18によってイエ
ローYの始端が発熱ヘッド2に当接するよう選択されて
いる。印写が進むにつれ熱転写シート7は巻取りロール
9に巻き取られ、記録紙1は紙送りローラ14でも送ら
れるようになる。UCC繊紙1径路切換ガイド16に差
し掛かる以前に径路切換ガイド16は矢印二の方向に図
示せぬ手段で向けられ配録紙1は内紙案内5と外紙案内
6とで構成される周回径路に従って矢印口の方向へ進み
再び紙送シローラ12で送られるようになる。こうして
形成される記録紙1を搬送する閉径路は記録紙1よりも
若干長めになっている。イエローYの転写が完了すると
発熱ヘッド2及び押えローラ10,11は再び第3図に
示すようにプラテン4より離隔する。ここで記録紙1の
終端が発熱ヘッド2を通過して間もなく、閉径路を経て
周回してきた記録紙1の始端が紙検出器17で検出され
た後再び印写可能位置に来、シート色検出器18でマゼ
ンダMの始端が選択され、以下イエローYの場合と全く
