するものである。

図面の第3図)のものがある。上記第3図に就い
て簡単に説明すると床上に定置され得る電動機速
度制御器或は抵抗器40は、キヤビネツト下方の
床上に持運び自在に定置されると共に、所要長さ
の電線コードをもつて電源に通じており、上記抵
抗器40は、一端にペタル41を突出させた蓋板
42と床面に定置される基礎部体43とによる中
空函体に形成されており、前記ペタル41は函体
の外部に一ツの表示灯を見える目的のために函体
中に取付けられる一つの光源に依り前記ペタル4
1が暗中に照らし出されるような透明な可塑材料
で作られており、前記表示灯は白熱電灯44から
できていてこの白熱電灯44の発する光線は前記
透明ペタル41を通じて前記抵抗器40の外方に
放射することにより、暗中に光線を見視によつて
ペタル41の位置を確認できるようにしたもので
ある。上記のものにあつては、ミシンのキヤビネ
ツト下方の薄暗い床上に定置された抵抗器を操作
する場合、見視によつてそのペタルの放つ光を目
当てに位置を確め得るように白熱電灯及びそのス
イツチ機構及び該スイツチ機構と電源との電気的
配線など複雑な機構の組立てによつて構成される
ので、コスト高になるうえに釦形で然も高い位置
にあるペタルは光を発していても踏み外し易く使
い勝手の悪い不都合があつた。

向にほぼ90゜の回転自在に支承されている。前記
スイツチ・プレート5は前記直桿部4とほぼ等長
の横長のもので、上縁には折り曲げ加工により直
桿部4の径より僅かに大き目の内径にした前記挿
孔6を形成し、この挿孔6に前記直桿部4を挿入
することにより、スイツチ・プレート5を前記ア
ーム1に吊り下げるように取付ける。この際スイ
ツチ・プレート5は作業位置9と向合う側に、所
要の傾斜角度を維持するように固定されており、
その座板10には電動ミシンと電源(図示省略)
を断続させるONスイツチペタル11及びOFFの
スイツチペタル11′を併設すると共に、スイツ
チ・プレート5は前記ボス2に設けたネジ12に
より固定して足踏みスイツチBを構成する。この

一旦定置すれば簡単に位置が変位しないので、そ
の都度ネジ12を操作するに及ばない。作業テー
