Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent artificial misoperation to improve the operating rate by storing stop information when a computer system is stopped and indicating automatically the restoration condition at restarting to restore the system automatically. CONSTITUTION:If the computer system is stopped during operating, a CPU4 discriminates this stop and outputs stop information to a signal line 101 through a stop output device 5, and stop information is read into a stop information reading device 6 of an automatic restoring device 3. A corresponding stop condition code is outputted from a condition discriminating bank 10 to a condition discriminating device 7, and corresponding restoration condition information is outputted from a restoration condition indicating bank 11 to a restoration condition indicating device 8. A restoration environment output device 9 sends restoration condition information to the CPU4 on a basis of a restart signal 201 to initialize the CPU4 and gives an indication to a CPU start indicating circuit 12 through a signal line 100 to start automatically a computer 1 through a CPU start program 14.
