から直線部4側にかけて形成することが好まし
く、かくすることによつてシリンダ内壁面10の
加工時半円形部3を加工する工具と直線部4を加
工する工具が該凹溝6に逃げて半円形部3と直線
部4との交叉部に加工段差の発生を防止すると共
に加工後該凹溝6内に充填されるシール材7の表
面7aを成形容易な平坦面で形成し得る。各凹溝
6は第2図に示した角形溝の他に第3図示のよう
な蟻溝或は第4図示のような丸形溝に形成しても
よい。
