したときもホームポジション検出を行ってしまう問題が
ある。このため、従来ではホームポジションを決める受
光素子の出力レベルの調整がかなりIn<、ホームポジ
ションを誤検出してしまう問題があった。

面側にはハンマ一体26が設けられ、かつ前方には前記
用紙14を巻付けたプラテン21が設けられている。前
記印字ホイール17の検出用穴21が通過するホームポ
ジション検出位置に発光素子28と受光素子29が印字
ホイール17を間に介して対向配置されている。すなわ
ち、発光素子28は前記ホイールモータ24の筐体に取
付けられ、前記受光素子29は前記フレーム15に取付
けられ、ホームポジションでの前記印字ホイール11の
