Claims (1)
- 触媒を収納すべき中空筒状胴部の両端に先細り
筒状のエンドコーンをそれぞれ備えるアウタシエ
ルが、その一直径線に沿つて分割された一対のシ
エル半体の周方向両端に突設した接合鍔を溶接結
合することにより形成され、アウタシエルの接合
面と同一平面内で一対のコーン半体を接合して前
記エンドコーンに対応した形状の先細り筒状とな
るインナコーンが形成され、該インナコーンがア
ウタシエル内の端部でエンドコーンに支持される
触媒コンバータにおいて、前記両コーン半体の周
方向両端には、相互に当接して外側方に突出する
突部がそれぞれ突設され、前記アウタシエルのエ
ンドコーンに対応する部分で相対向する前記接合
鍔間には、前記両突部が嵌合する袋穴が設けられ
ることを特徴とする触媒コンバータ。
