と、入力回路から供給された前記ライン状ドツト
素子に対するドツト印字データを保持するデータ

路間に介在してオン状態で前記ドツト印字データ
を所属の前記ゲート回路へ供給するスイツチング
素子とを内蔵し、このスイツチング素子に印字駆
動信号端子を通して前記入力回路から前記印字駆
動信号を供給されるとオンになつて、前記ドツト
印字データに対応する位置の前記ドツト印字素子
が印字作動するように成つたサーマル印字ヘツド
において前記サーマルドツト素子の異常印字作動
を防止する保護回路であつて、前記駆動電圧を入
力とする保護回路用電源回路と、この電源回路の
電圧を用いて前記入力回路用の電源電圧が所定の
電圧レベルを下廻る間印字駆動信号端子を強制的
に非作動レベルにし、前記所定レベルに達すると
前記入力回路からの印字駆動信号を前記印字駆動
端子に供給可能にする印字駆動イネーブル回路と
