Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は２点間を容易に分割す゛るための文具である。
従来、２点間を分割するには２点間の距離を測シ、その
求められた距離から計算によって個々の分割される区間
の長さの値を導き、実際にその値を測って分割するとい
った繁雑な手順をふまねばならなかりた。本発明は、こ
のような繁雑さを軽減するべく、等分割のような規則性
をもった分割を容易になすためのものである。
図面について説明すると、一端を目盛シ１とし他端付近
に目盛シ２を設け、目盛シ１と目盛シ２の間を等分割も
しくは累乗に基づく分割、対数に基づく分割をした目ｖ
＆！り３を記したゴム紐４を目盛シ１の部分で固着また
は係着したものである。
使用に際しては、分割すべき２点（６，７）間の点６に
目盛り１を当て、外縁部８を持ってゴム紐４を伸長し、
点７に目盛り２を当て、その位置がずれないよう外縁部
８でゴム紐４と定規５を固定し、目盛シ３を読みとって
２点（６，７）間を分割する。従って、計算も長さを測
る必要もない。
−′ゴム紐４の目盛り３は、２分割、３分割、５分割、
７分割等の等分割のほか、第３図、第４図に例示したよ
うに、累乗あるいは対数といった規則性のある数値に基
づくものであってもよい。第３図は、２乗に基づく分割
目盛シでの実施例であシ第４図は、常用対数にもとづ〈
実施例でおる。これらは、グラフの軸に累乗あるいは対
数の目盛り等をとる際などに用いると便利である。
なお、ゴム紐４は、他の均一に伸縮する材質のもの（例
えば、つるまきバネ）であってもさしつかえない。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. １、一端を目盛り１とし他端付近に目盛り２を設け目盛
    り１と目盛り２の間を等分割もしくは累乗に基づく分割
    あるいは対数に基づく分割をした目盛り３を記したゴム
    紐４を目盛り１の部分で定規５に固着または係着した２
    点間分割具。
