ジ柱2は押出し成形によつて製作され、第2図a
に示すように左右のヒンジ軸3間の間隔及びヒン
ジ柱2の中央片8とヒンジ軸3との間隔を狭く設
定すれば、押出しに用いる金型(図の斜線で示
す)の強度が低下するため、第2図bに示すa寸
法及びb寸法を比較的大きく設定しなければなら
ないが、こうすると、ヒンジ軸3とフツク4との
間のがたつきが大きくなり、悪くするとヒンジ軸
3よりフツク4が外れてしまうという問題があつ
た。

3図以下に示すように、一対の相隣り合うパネル
1,1間に上下に沿つて配置されるヒンジ柱2
と、各パネル1の側端より突出して夫々ヒンジ柱
2の左右に形成したヒンジ軸3,3へ回転自在に
嵌合されるフツク4,4とを備え、ヒンジ柱2は
その水平断面形状がコ字形の両側片5,5先端よ
り夫々内側へ略直角に舌片6,6が延出すると共
に各舌片6の先端に略円形のヒンジ軸3が形成さ
れ且つコ字形の中央片8の左右中央より内方へ一
対の突起9が突出する形状に一体成形され、各パ
ネル1の端面より突出するフツク4は水平断面が
略C字状に成形され、フツク4のC字部10内に
上記ヒンジ軸3が回転自在に嵌入することにより
一対のパネル1,1がヒンジ柱2を介して折り畳
み自在に連結され、上記ヒンジ柱2の突起9,9
間に形成される溝11に一端が嵌入するスペーサ
12の他端の左右両側に夫々フツク4のC字部1
0外面に合致する弧状面13,13が形成され、
各弧状面13に沿つて夫々各フツク4のC字部1
0外面が摺動することを特徴とするものである。
このようにヒンジ柱2を介して折り畳み自在に連
結される一対のパネル1,1は、第3図に示すよ
うに上下一対のレール15,16間に配設されて
室内の間仕切りや家具の扉として使用されるもの
であつて、各パネル1は夫々ヒンジ柱2と反対側
の側端部上面に突出するランナー17を上レール
15へ走行自在に吊下げると共にヒンジ柱2と反
対側の側端部下面に突出するピボツト18を下レ
ール16へ走行自在に嵌入して上下の両レール1
5,16間に取付けられ、一方のパネル1のピボ
ツト18を下レール17に固定すればこのパネル
1の側端を固定端として両パネル1,1が開閉さ
れる。ヒンジ柱2は両パネル1,1間の上下の全
長に亘つて取付けれるものであつて、ヒンジ柱2
の上下両端には夫々ヒンジ柱2の上下へのずれを
防止するキヤツプ(図示せず)が取付けられてヒ
ンジ柱2が抜け落ちるのが防止される。またこの
ヒンジ柱2は押出し成形により長尺体に成形され
るものであつて、第5図に示すように、押出しに
用いる金型に十分な強度が保障できるように、両
ヒンジ軸3,3間の間隔(a寸法)及び突起9と
ヒンジ軸3との間隔(b寸法)を十分広く設定し
ている。一方、パネル1とヒンジ柱2とを連結す
るフツク4は、第4図に示すように、パネル1側
端面の片半分に固定される取付片20の一端より
C字部10が一体に延出する断面形状に形成され
る。スペーサ12は第4図に示すように、一端に
形成したT字部21を両突起9,9間の溝11に
嵌入してヒンジ柱2に固定され、他端部に形成し
た矢じり部の左右の弧状面13,13が夫々ヒン
ジ軸3外周に嵌合する各フツク4のC字部10外
面に合致し、各フツク4のC字部10はパネル1
の開閉中内外両面を夫々ヒンジ軸3と弧状面13
とに摺動しながらヒンジ軸3のまわりで回転する
こととなり、C字部10がヒンジ軸3のまわりで
がたつくことがないものである。尚、このスペー
サ12はヒンジ柱2の上下の全長に亘つて取着し
ても、或いは部分的に取着してもよいものであ
る。
