Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the cost and size of the ladder-type ceramic filter by constituting an electrode structure in beltlike shape on one diagonal and suppressing spurious response of Z<1/2>f0, and improving its filter characteristics and decreasing the number of piezoelectric ceramic resonators when a device is constituted. CONSTITUTION:A figure shows a serial arrangement element 10 among piezoelectric ceramic resonators which constitute the device. In the figure, a serial arrangement element body is shown by 11 and a beltlike electrode is shown by 12. This beltlike electrode 12 extends in beltlike shape on one of two diagonals up to the corners and suppresses spurious response of Z<1/2>f0. When the device is constituted, the filter characteristic A is improved as compared with the characteristic B of the conventional device and the number of piezoelectric ceramic resonators is decreased to reduce the cost and size.

The structure of the conventional example and its problems The conventional ladder-type ceramic filter has a piezoelectric structure with a series arrangement element 1a and a parallel arrangement element 1b, as shown in Fig. 1 and its circuit connection, respectively. Porcelain vibrator 1
t - sandwiched between electrode plates 3 having protrusions 2, insulating plate 4 and buffer plate 5'ij - appropriately arranged, and these components placed in case e.
It is composed of internal impeachments.

By the way, a square plate-shaped piezoelectric ceramic vibrator that utilizes this spreading vibration generates many spurious waves due to various vibration forms, but in particular, as shown in Figure 4, the main resonant frequency f
Since the spurious signal 5fo at the frequency V7 of o has a small attenuation amount, it has the drawback of deteriorating the filtering characteristics when the filter is constructed.

Generally, as a countermeasure to this, methods have been used such as suppressing the spurious by varying the frequency of each piezoelectric ceramic vibrator, or increasing the number of stages to attenuate the spurious to a range where it does not have any effect. It was difficult, and 9 series was not optimal due to the cost increase. In addition, as shown in FIG. 5, the shape of the electrode 9 of the series-arranged element 1a is made into a belt-like structure extending toward each corner around the central node, and 5fO
Measures have been used to suppress spurious signals, but it is difficult to make the band width thinner, and the electrode area becomes larger.
This was also not optimal as the amount of attenuation of the filtering characteristics was shallower than the target value. In addition, 8 in FIG. 3 and FIG. 6 is a whole surface electrode.

FIG. 6 shows the series-arranged elements 1 of the piezoelectric ceramic resonators constituting the ladder-shaped ceramic filter in one embodiment of the present invention.
It indicates 0. In FIG. 6, reference numeral 11 indicates the main body of the series-arranged elements, and reference numeral 12 indicates a strip-shaped electrode. The strip-shaped electrode 12 is configured to extend in a strip shape to one corner of each diagonal line on three sides, as shown in FIG. Efo spurious can be suppressed (increased attenuation), and when a ladder-shaped ceramic filter is configured, its filtration rate characteristic A can be improved compared to characteristic B of the conventional product, as shown in Figure 8. . Here, since the overall configuration is the same as that in FIG. 1, the explanation will be omitted. Further, in FIG. 6, numeral 13 is a full-surface electrode.
