Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase the shielding effect by shaping a case and a bottom plate by use of a thermoplastic resin in which the Ni-Zn group ferrite powder is mixed and incorporating a main body of transformer in it followed by supersonic fusion of the case and the bottom plate. CONSTITUTION:A case 11 and a bottom plate 16 are shaped of the material of a thermoplastic resin in which Ni-Zn group ferrite powder is mixed. The case 11 and the bottom plate 16 are bonded to be a one-body type shielding case by supersonic fusion after attaching a main body of transformer to it. This case has a good shielding effect to an emissive noise of high frequency and functions for increasing an insulating property.

Conventionally, as shown in Fig. 5, the noise generated from a transformer is eliminated by using a metal case 1 as an outer box to insulate the winding 4 wound around the bobbin 5, the ferrite core 3, and the pin terminal 6. An insulating case 2 is placed between the metal case 1 and the terminal 7 of the metal case 1 as a ground terminal to provide shielding.

(Problem to be solved by the invention) However, in the above configuration, the metal case (shield case) 1 is exposed to the outside of the transformer, so in a high-density mounting set, the shield case and other parts are However, due to dimensional variations in one component or mounting variations, there is a possibility that the components may come into contact with each other and cause electrical damage, which is one of the causes of hindering high-density packaging.

In addition, since the shield case is made of metal, if it covers the entire transformer, it will come into contact with the pin terminals, so it cannot be used on the pin terminal extraction surface, and as a result, there is no protection against noise radiated from the bottom of the transformer. The problem was that it could not be shielded.
