Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce considerably the dirt due to a toner in a machine by wrapping outside peripheral surfaces of both end parts of a photosensitive drum with a duct having air intake ports and connecting this duct to a bleeder. CONSTITUTION:Air intake parts A and B consisting of air intake ports 18, 19, and 20 are provided to wrap outside peripheral surfaces of both end parts of a photosensitive drum 1, and they are connected to the bleeder through ducts 21 and 22 constituting an air intake duct 14. The air intake port 18 is formed with the gap between the outside peripheral end face of the photosensitive drum 1 and a bending edge 16 of the air intake end, and the air intake port 19 is formed with duct side faces 15 and 17. 【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は公知の電子写真装置の集塵装置に関する。従来
電子写真装置に供する、集塵装置には、数多(の発明及
び考案が成され、実用に供されているが、%にトナー飛
散忙対応してその飛散したトナーの集成には、トナー飛
散の多い、現像装置の現像に供する開口部近くの上部、
又は下部、更には上下共に集塵装置の吸気口を置くのが
常である。本発明は特に現像装置には記述はしないが、
トナー飛散の極めて少い構造であり、特に現像に供する
、例えば磁気ブラシの現像部分を除きシー去するクリー
ナーからのトナーの飛散のないようトナーを掻き落すブ
レードの前後を感光部材とのシールを施すのである。以
上の如くトナー飛散の多い装置からのトナーの飛散のな
いようにするのが適当である。籾て本発明の効果に就い
ての評価は、トナー儂の用紙への転写、及び上記用紙え
の転写後の剥離を行う、交流コロナ放電を行うダブルチ
ャージャー13の汚れの状態で判るのである籾て本発明
の一実施例を図にて述べる。第1図は本発明を含む要部
を示す電子写真装置の一部破断側面図である。公知の電
子写真装置で感光七゛ラムitに対して図示にない除電
、帯電、露光を行い現像装置4、転写及び剥離を行うダ
ブルチャージャー13及びクリーナー12、更には吸気
筒14を示すのである。なは図示にない給紙カセットか
らの用紙は、搬送路24を搬送される。現像装置4はき
よう体5内に所定位置に磁極を付した、磁気ローラー6
を配し、その外側を非磁性材にて形成されたスリーブ7
に矢印方向の回動を付与し、スリープ7に収集した現像
剤をドクタ一部9にて整形を行い、磁気ブラシ8を形成
する。磁気ブラシ8からのトナーの飛散を防止すべく、
磁気ブラシ8に現像に供する部分を除きシール部10及
び11を施す。上述の如く現像装置4からのトナーの飛
散を少くするのである。籾て集塵装置に供する吸気ダク
ト14に就き述べる。第1図の断面、及び第2図の斜視
図で示す如く、吸気口18.1.9及び20は左右対称
的であり、導電ドラム2の外周面に感光層3を施した感
光ドラム10両端縁部分を包む形状にして、吸気口18
は感光ドラム1の外周端縁面と、吸気端曲縁16との対
接間隙間とで形成され、吸気口19はダクト側面15及
びダクト曲面17にて形成される、図示の如き、感光ド
ラム1の外周端縁部分を包む部分を開く四方を包む吸気
部分であり、図示の如くクリーナー12側に付すのであ
る。吸気口19と貫通状にある吸気口20は、現像装置
4側に設けられ、現像装置4、クリーナー12を亘る感
光ドラム1の両性周端縁部分は、吸気口、18.19及
び20にて包まれる。上述の吸気dA及びBはダクト2
1にて連結され、中央ダクト22にて図示にないフィル
ターを介する抽気装置に連結される。なはフランジ23
は所定のダクトとの結合を良くするためのものである。
