    タピストンエンジンにおいて、 上記点火プラグを、中心電極と、該中心電極と
    所定の間隔を有して周設される側方電極とを備え
    たセミ沿面点火プラグで構成する一方、上記プラ
    グ取付孔の作動室側開口部を上記側方電極の外径
    より小さく、かつ、該電極の内径以上の大きさに
    設定するとともに上記側方電極の先端を上記プラ
    グ取付孔の径と上記開口部の径との接続部となる
    段部に当接させたことを特徴とするロータリピス
    トンエンジン。
