Abstract

PURPOSE:To rationalize the terminal station control by polling the data with a prescribed format through a transmission line from the center station to one of the terminal stations, and modifying the data table part of the terminal station. CONSTITUTION:Each terminal station has a basic-operation part and a data table part, which are composed respectively of a ROM and a RAM. A terminal station 4, in its initial operation, can not perform the operation if its data table part is not yet registered. Therefore, it is not able to return a normal response when accepted a pouring by means of a format from the center station 1. So, it transmits to the center station 1 a program request by means of a program- load-request format. The center station 1 then loads the program by means of the program-load format through the communication line 2 to the terminal station 4. Accordingly, no personnel dispatch to the terminal station is necessary when modifying the supervisory/control item of the terminal station. Additionally, because the control of the terminal data is centralized at the center station, the modifying operation is easy. As a result, the operational cost is reduced.
