Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the loss in time and to exchange safely by providing the storing rack of metal dies with adjoining a press working machine, by storing to the rack with removing by a control device one part of the upper die or lower die and by taking off substitute metal die. CONSTITUTION:The metal die housing 25 to incorporate freely rotatively automatic tool exchanging devices 17, 19, upper die rack group 21 and lower die rack group 23 at the position adjoining in the longitudinal direction of the upper and lower dies of a press brake. A rack plate 29 is driven with the numerical control by the pinion gear 31 provided on the upper and lower parts of the center of a parallel part, locating the necessary upper die rack 21 and lower die rack 23 on the corresponding position of the automatic metal die changing device 17, 19. The holding bodies 33, 35 of the automatic metal die changing device 17, 19 move in parallel to the longitudinal direction of the upper die and lower die with being guided by freely elastic rail members 37, 39.
