(b) Conventional Technology As is well known, a wet-laying method is well known as an example of a method for installing tile pieces on a wall surface. This wet cladding method is a method in which a 7μ resin is applied to the tiled wall surface, and tile pieces are arranged and fixed on the tiled wall surface through the mortar layer. In this conventional tile installation method, when the tile pieces are made of large tile pieces, when the tile pieces are fixed to the tiled wall surface through a layer of mortar, the connecting medium is caused by the weight of the tile pieces in the initial stage. A shift occurs in the mortar layer, and as the shift develops, the contact area between the tile piece and the mortar layer decreases, and the connecting force decreases, leading to the tile piece peeling off and falling from the wall surface to which it is attached. There is. Furthermore, if a cavity (C) is formed between the tile piece +1) and the mortar layer συ when the tile piece is pressure-bonded to the mortar coating layer, the above-mentioned phenomenon becomes even more remarkable. These facts have already been verified from the state of mortar adhesion on the back surface of the tile pieces that have peeled off and fallen (see Figure 6). On the other hand, since the thermal expansion coefficients of tile pieces and mortar layers are different,
Temperature differences between calm and night, and between summer and winter, cause interfacial peeling between tile pieces and the mortar layer over time, which is thought to be the cause of peeling and falling. Furthermore, when rainwater or the like intrudes into the back side of the tile piece, the interface between the tile piece and the mortar layer weathers, causing a so-called efflorescence phenomenon, which increases peeling and falling. In addition, infiltrated rainwater freezes and expands in volume, which also causes peeling and falling.

For these reasons, in the wet tiling method of tile pieces,
In order to prevent tile pieces from peeling and falling due to the causes mentioned above, it is necessary to treat the tile pieces so that they do not shift due to their own weight at the beginning of construction, and to prevent the tile pieces from peeling and falling over a long period of time. It is necessary to take lessons.
