該ロータとロータハウジング内壁との間に形成さ
れるポンプ室が容積変化して吸い込んだ燃料を吐
出するように構成されたロータリー式ポンプ部を
備え、前記ロータの回転軸方向が縦向きとなるよ
うに設置される燃料ポンプにおいて、燃料の吐出
口が形成されたロータハウジング上壁部と間隙を
介して重合されてケーシング内流路を塞ぐように
配設され、前記燃料の吐出口の上方位置とずれた
位置に燃料の流通用孔を形成してなる異物侵入防
止用プレートを備えたことを特徴とする燃料ポン
