グを蓋の成形に於て成型蓋の内部に埋設すること
により第1図示の如く構成するが、その鉛ブツシ
ングAの外周面を被包結着する鉛蓄電池の蓋Bの
筒壁bは、成形後の冷却により矢示の方向に収縮
し、この結果、筒壁bの上部は鎖線示の如く外方
へ変位しブツシングAの上端部外周面から剥が
れ、その間に間隙Cを生ずるようになることがし
ばしば見られ、その結果、該蓄電池の内部の電解
液が該間隙Cを通じ外部へ洩出し易く、又端子A
が電解液により褐色乃至黒褐色に変色し、商品価
値を低下せしめる欠点がある。本考案は、かゝる
従来の欠点を解消し、蓄電池端子部、即ち、端子
ブツシングとその外周の電池蓋との接合部の液密
性を向上せしめたもので、端子ブツシング1の基
部1a外周に設ける複数段の鍔2,2……のう
ち、上から2番目の鍔2を他の鍔2より大径2a
のものに形成し、その基部1a外周面に、全ての
鍔2,2……を被包する筒状壁3aをもつ電池蓋
3を成形により1体に結着して成る。
