Abstract

PURPOSE:To attain to make the title apparatus compact and inexpensive, by using a common press means not only in the press energizing of a recording head to a platen but also that of a locating member to the platen or the member coaxial to said platen. CONSTITUTION:The end part of a recording part cover 7 is pivotally mounted to a pivot shaft 9 in a freely revolvable manner. Locating members 6 are mounted to both ends of a recording head 1 and loosely fitted to the back surface of the cover 7 by a pivot shaft 8 through a traverse slot 6a so as to be slid to the flow direction of a recording material 12. A leaf spring 10 is fixedly provided to the backappa surface of the cover 7 and one end part 10a thereof is contacted with the back surface of the head 1 to be energized to the direction of a platen roller 3 and the other end part 10b thereof is contacted with the side end surface of the head to energize the head 1 and the coating members 6 to the direction of a bearing 5. Because not only the pressing of the recording material to the recording head and the platen roller in the upstream side of the feed direction of said recording material 2 but also the location and energizing of the recording head in the paper feed direction are performed by using one pressing force means, an image recording apparatus can be made light and compact.

め部材6をプラテンローラ3の軸受け5に係合し、これ
によって両者の位置の再現性を保障して記録ヘッド1の
発熱ライン4とプラテンローラ3の母線とをある精度で
合致させることが出来るように構成していたが、しかし
このフォーク式装置は中広の位置決め部材6等を使用す
る為にWiff全ff大きくなる欠点があった。

ッター刃7aを形成し、かつその他端部は支軸9に回動
自在に軸着され、矢印A方向に回動し得る如く構成され
ている。又記録ヘッドlはこれの両端に取付られた位置
決め部材6と及び該カバー7に設けられた支軸8とを介
してカバー7の裏面に搭載され、かつ該支軸8は位置決
め部材6に穿設された横長穴6aと遊合されている。

構成を簡略化してコンパクトにすることが出来、従って
画像記録装置を全体的に軽くコンパクトにしかも安価に
大量生産することが出来る等の特徴を有するものである
