(Prior Art) Conventionally, appliques have been known in which pattern pieces are formed by cutting fabrics of various different colors into the shapes of people, animals, plants, etc., and then combining these pattern pieces to form a desired pattern. These appliques can be easily attached to clothing, etc., simply by heating and pressing them with an iron. When combining a large number of various pattern pieces to form a desired pattern, the pattern pieces are locally bonded to each other with glue to prevent them from separating.

However, in the case of attachments that are locally glued together with glue, the design pieces that are grouped together in one place and located far away from the group of design pieces cannot be joined by gluing, so when ironing, the worker has to individually This requires a great deal of effort and effort, and there is also the inconvenience that a wide and accurate pattern cannot be constructed. In addition, there is a drawback that small pattern pieces located away from a single pattern are easily lost.

(Structure of the device) In order to eliminate the above-mentioned disadvantages, this device has a design between a covering material coated with a pressure-sensitive adhesive (adhesive) and a backing material that has adhesive properties to the pressure-sensitive adhesive. When attaching a piece to clothing, etc., remove the backing material, apply the covering material to the clothing, etc. with the pattern piece attached, and heat press from the surface of the covering material, and the pattern piece will stick to the clothing, etc. Examples will be described below based on the drawings.

The pattern pieces 2 that make up the pattern include clouds, mountains, houses,
They are shaped like the ground, flowers, etc., and are made of cloth, synthetic resin sheets, etc. in various colors. On the back surface of each pattern piece 2, a thin layer 5 of dried hot melt adhesive is formed by applying a hot melt adhesive. This hot melt adhesive is a known adhesive that melts at a temperature of around 150°C and exhibits an adhesive effect.

The covering material 3 is made of a synthetic resin sheet, film, paper, etc. that is larger than the pattern piece 2, and can withstand the heat generated when melting the hot melt adhesive, and may be opaque.
A transparent synthetic resin film is preferred from the viewpoint of workability and the ability to see through the product contents from the outside. One example is polyethylene film. General polyethylene film deforms when heated to a temperature of around 150°C, but it is known that special treatment can make it able to withstand such heating temperatures. A pressure-sensitive adhesive (adhesive) is applied uniformly or locally to the back surface of the covering material 3 to form a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 6. This pressure-sensitive adhesive can withstand the heating temperature and does not transfer to the surface of the pattern piece 2 when heated.

The backing material 4 is made of a synthetic resin sheet, film, paper, etc. formed to the same size as the covering material 3, and is made of a material that has an appropriate adhesive and releasability for the pressure-sensitive adhesive of the covering material 3. It is formed.

To form an attachment 1 with the pattern piece 2, the covering material 3, and the backing material 4, the covering material 3 is placed on a table with its pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 6 facing upward, and the pattern piece 2 is placed thereon in a predetermined pattern. Arrange it according to the following. When the covering material 3 is made of a transparent material, a paper pattern with the placement of the pattern pieces 2 marked on it is arranged on the underside of the covering material 3, and the pattern pieces 2 are arranged following the placement positions marked on the paper pattern. By doing so, work efficiency can be improved. If the covering material 3 is not transparent, it may be printed on the back side. When the backing material 4 is placed on top of the pattern piece 2 and pressed, the pattern piece 2 and the covering material 3 are bonded together, and at the same time, the backing material 4 and the covering material 3 are bonded, and the pattern piece 2 is attached to the covering material 3. It is in a state where it is clamped by the lining material 4.

To attach the Atsuplique 1 to clothing, etc., remove the backing material 4, apply the pattern piece 2 to the surface of the clothing, etc. while it is still attached to the covering material 3, and heat press it with an iron or the like over the covering material 3. . By hot pressing, the hot-melt adhesive on the back side of the pattern piece 2 is melted and adhered to clothing, etc., so the covering material 3 is peeled off from the surface of the pattern piece 2 after cooling for a predetermined period of time.

(Effect of the invention) In this invention, the arrangement of the pattern pieces is determined in advance, and the pattern pieces are clamped between the covering material and the lining material, so the position of the pattern pieces does not shift. . Not only does it take less time and effort to adhere the pattern pieces to each other with glue, but since the pattern pieces are glued to the covering material, they can be scattered between the pattern pieces or in locations where they have peeled off. It is possible to form a pattern with a wide spread, instead of a pattern with a wide pattern in which the pattern pieces are clustered in one place as in the example.
