開口した炉体カバーで、図示しない架台から吊持
具5により吊持され、かつ昇降自在となつてい
る。この炉体カバー4の側壁にはそれぞれ多数の
バーナー6,6……が設けられ、その前面には火
炎が棒鋼3に直接当らないようにバツフルプレー
ト7が配されている。8はダンパー付の排ガス口
である。
