素濃度検出素子と、前記酸素濃度検出素子を囲繞
する保護部材とを有し、前記保護部材は排気ガス
通過孔を有し且つヒータ線を担持した絶縁体から
成ることを特徴とする酸素濃度検出器。 (2) 前記酸素濃度検出素子は長手酸素イオン導
電性固体電解質板の長手方向における一端部の両
主面に電極層を設けてなる一対の素子を互いの主
面が対向するように平行に配置し且つ前記一端部
に間隙部を設けて該両素子を結合して成り、一方
の素子を酸素ポンプ素子とし、他方の素子を酸素
濃度比測定用電池素子としたことを特徴とする実
